The 2x8PL is the new sensation in the Schroeder line. When the first 1212L Classic with one front-fired and one angled-firing woofers was introduced, no one could believe that a compact cabinet could produce such a detailed, full and huge sound. Now, with the introduction of the 2x8PL we’re witnessing the same reaction… «no way!!!». Most people can’t believe their ears when they listen to this sweet little monster! The sound levels are, simply put, ridiculous and the tone quality is unrivaled. A cabinet able to blush its competitors (even with 12″ and 15″ woofers) with regards to the full, deep lows, and providing at the same time a perfectly balanced amount of midrange and cristal clear highs.
With a power rating of 800W, you can bet that one cab will be more than enough for gigs in pubs and medium-sized venues without the need for PA support. Two cabs will only be needed if you play huge venues or want to go stereo. Soundwise, these cabs deliver as the rest of the line amazing clarity, without compromise in punch and fullness, with an added touch of warmth. Cautionary note: Once you try one there’s no way you’re going to want any other cab.
